It has been over 3 years since I have photographed newborn twins, so when I found out Jordan (one of my first Baby Planner Mommies) was wanting a session I was elated! I have come to know Jordan and her daughter, Ann Lowery, when she signed up for her 4 sessions back in 2007. Well, this time she brought two more daughters for me to meet! These little angels were only 9 days old when I met them for their session....need I say more?! The session went so smooth because they slept pretty much the entire time. It was a great day and I feel honored to have got to be a part of their memory making.
Our world wind of spring weddings has turned into an Album Design Extravaganza! I thought you might like a sneak peek of Leslie & Steven's Album which is going through final proofing then off to the printers!
[I apologize for loosing a bit of the slide show on the right. Dang it! CLICK HERE and you won't have that problem!]
Wahooooooo! Yay! What sweeties Brittany and Ross are! I know I often refer to my brides and grooms as some sort of veggie, such as peas and carrots. Well, there just is not a better way to describe these two! Their entire family & bridal party was just a pleasure to spend the day with which once again has me thanking the heavens above for my fabulous job!
Brittany and Ross tied the knot in Gainesville and held their reception at the Haile Golf & Country Club. Every detail was perfect and the day was flawless. Thank you both for allowing me into your little world for one of the most memorable moments of your lives.
Congratulations again you two & I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
Smoochas!

I have been so behind in my blogging that I was afraid I was not going to post these until after Ashley and Gordon had the baby! They came to the studio a few weeks ago to make sure to capture that belly that they are so proud of. Ashley was one of my Mommies that signed up for my Spring Special back in March. I knew she would be full of personality after having me in stitches with her emails regarding her fading tan line and wardrobe dilemma!
Their baby boy is soon to be here and I can't wait to photograph his in-home session! Congrats again you two and I look forward to meeting your bundle of joy!
From today through Friday, August 28th at midnight we are not requiring a re-post fee for any PORTRAIT 2009 gallery! Soooooo, now is the time to order those extra prints you wanted without the added expense!
Just email me at jaime@jaimesmithphotography.com within those dates and I will re-post without the fee for 3 days!
Hurry, hurry!! The sale ends soon!
Hello all! I know I have been slow to blog this summer. I have still playing catch up from my spring weddings while juggling making "free-time" for me and my family. I now feel things calming down a bit so expect more blog posts to come!
Consequently, I have been trying to blog this sweet baby girl for over a month! Rees's parents brought her in for her session when she was one month old. I am usually weary of trying to photograph newborns after one week but this little girl slept the entire time. Sometimes even my newest of babies don't do that! She was an angel and certainly reminded me why I love newborns.
Congrats again Ginger & Josh for your angel of a little girl.
I will be out of town Monday, June 8th through Wednesday, June 10th. I will return all emails and phone calls on Thursday and Friday, and as always, I appreciate your patience.
Toot-a-loo!

Brittany and Ross woke up on their Friday morning wedding to pouring rain, but by the time we arrived to meet her at the church the weather had cleared and sunshine decided to break through the clouds. The rest of the day followed right on cue with a flawless ceremony and reception.
It was impossible to pick a sneak peek from this gorgious wedding, so I decided to just post a few of the couple. I can't wait to share more! Congratulations Brittany & Ross and have a blast on your honeymoon!
I usually get a phone call or email from a mom-to-be excited to get on the books to document their big round belly, but this time it wasn't. It was the excited DAD-to-be and his name is Nick. I met Nick during Laure & Rob's Wedding this past February and introduced me to Talia. These two drove up from Gainesville for their session and I could not feel more honored for their efforts in traveling to me!
You two were so much fun to have in the studio. I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this momentous journey with you, and I just can't wait to meet your sweet little daughter, Nolie!!
